Director & Lead Consultant
Aaron has spent nearly two decades solving IT problems, and he still genuinely loves it. Before founding Sutherland IT Solutions, he spent over twelve years at Cambustion, working his way from IT Engineer to IT Manager — overseeing everything from full infrastructure replacements to server virtualisation projects. He's a registered ICTTech professional with the Institution of Engineering and Technology, and holds a BTEC Distinction in ICT.
But what sets Aaron apart isn't the technical knowledge — it's how he uses it. Former colleagues describe him as someone who makes IT support "something to look forward to, rather than dread." He's approachable, driven, and nothing is too much trouble. He brings that same energy to every client, whether he's securing a care home's network or troubleshooting a classroom smartboard.
Ben
IT Technician
Ben is the calm in the storm. Working alongside Aaron on-site, he's the steady, adaptable presence that clients meet when things have gone wrong and patience matters most. Laid-back by nature and unfazed under pressure, he brings a quiet reliability that balances out the team perfectly.
Eager to learn, flexible in his approach, and already a dependable pair of hands across a wide range of client environments. When your printer is jammed, your network is down, and your morning is unravelling, Ben's exactly the kind of person you want walking through the door — calm, capable, and ready to get stuck in.
Lauren
Web Developer & IT Support
Lauren is the creative and technical mind behind the scenes. Working remotely, she handles the company's web development, design, and digital presence — including the website you're looking at right now. With a background in technology spanning over a decade, from audio engineering to IT consultancy, she brings a breadth of experience and a sharp eye for detail.
A firm believer that good design should be clear, functional, and people-friendly — no unnecessary complexity, no jargon for the sake of it. Whether she's refining a layout or solving a tricky code problem, her focus is always on making things work brilliantly for the people using them.

IT Support and Projects Engineer
Elliot and Aaron go back a long way. Before joining Sutherland IT in September 2026, Elliot spent nine years at the same company — starting in an IT role and working his way up to IT Manager. That kind of progression takes someone who genuinely knows their stuff and earns the trust of the people around them.
Affable, level-headed, and clear in everything he does, Elliot is equally at home helping with day-to-day troubleshooting as he is tackling something far more complex. He believes friendly, professional IT support should be available to everyone who needs it — and that's exactly what he does.
